Hi guys can anyone help me remove this hat and keep the boy's face intact? Perhaps reverse clone if that's even possible?

There will be nothing underneath if you remove the hat. What you might try instead is:

  • Select part of the other side of the face
  • Ctrl+J to copy it to its own layer
  • Move, rotate, scale as needed to fit over the side with the hat. Start with Edit > Free Transform (Ctrl+T)
  • You might need to touch up with the Clone tool, healing brush, and more.
