Question

How to save as JPEG (like previous versions)

How do I save as the previous versions of Photoshop were the Save option gave me ALL of the files (JPEG incuded) and kept the file name?

The new version seems to not let me save as a JPEG unless I choose SAVE AS, then it deletes the file name.

Frustrating....am I missing something?

Thanks

Open up the Photoshop Preferences. They can be found in the Photoshop menu on a Mac and the Edit menu on Windows. Within the File Handling tab are the following options...

  • Enable legacy "Save As"
  • Do not append "copy" to filename when saving a copy

Hi

Take a look here and scroll down to this bit "Revert to legacy Save As options"
