Hi @sonia36111858wtl4! Thanks for reaching out.

When you go to File > Save a Copy, you should normally see an option to save as a JPEG. Are you not seeing that? If not, try going to Photoshop > Preferences > File Handling and make sure “Enable Legacy Save As” is checked.

Also, just a heads-up: JPEG doesn’t support 16-bit files, layers, alpha channels, or transparency. So if your file includes any of those, that might be why the option isn’t showing up.

Hope that helps! Let me know how it goes.

@Aleke

Hello,

Same question here. JPEG XL doesnt help me at all, just creating problems! I can´t upload photos in galleries or send to print companies. I need to save in normal JPEG. And your answer above didn´t help at all, neither save as or save a copy. My “Enable Legacy Save As”  are checked.

@Magdalena Martin If you don't see jpeg in Save A Copy, your file is probably Lab mode or 32 bits per channel mode (HDR). You need to reduce to standard 16 or 8 bits per channel, RGB or CMYK.
