Question

How to tell how many complimentary generations are left?

On my account card, it shows:
Generative AI
Standard features
239/250 credits left
Next reset: November 21, 2025
Premium features
You get complimentary generations to try each premium feature.

How/where do I tell how many complimentary generations are left?  Also, this counter should be visible in Photoshop, so I don't waste time/effort trying to generate something when the credits are all used up. I shouldn't have to hunt through the menus of the website to find this information.

Also, if you're going to charge a premium for "premium" features like Topaz integration, then they should actually reliably work in Photoshop.

I can run something like Qwen AI online and on my computer for free, and yet you're charging quite a lot per month for features that have gotten better but still are very buggy.

Hello,

I am having same problem. At first I was able to generate using nano banana and flux through photoshop, then it said while trying another generation that I had used my complimentary generations. So I waited a month and today decided to try again and it says the same thing, that ive used complimentary generations. Where does it say how many complimentary generations I have left? And even if i dont have any, I still have 249 credits to use in my account. Are those credits only for use in firely, and wont generate using nano banana or flux in photoshop? If I cant generate I may just quit this service.

It shows what I put above, if you care to read it, as that's where the info is from. Hence why I said "On my account card, it shows:... Premium features: You get complimentary generations to try each premium feature." There's only a counter for standard features. all the links in the text just connect to the FAQs about generative credits. So yeah, still no information on how many I have left. Presumably, it's zero at the moment., but given there's no information how would I know?

As I've said repeatedly

I remember an announcement at Adobe MAX about free credits for a limited time, but didn't pay too much attention.

The only thing I can find now is on this page, which  includes a screenshot from MAX, says the free credits are available until December 1, specifies who qualifies and says how to tell if you are on an eligible plan.

Is this what you are looking for?

Was it working for you and then stopped, or did it never work?

I have the photography plan, so not part of the plans mentioned or the unlimited trial. Any reference to "complementary generations" throughout the documentation only says you get them, no reference to how many or if they are a one time offer. As at least one high profile Photoshop educator has said, the information around credits is all over the place in the documentation, often vague, and it's very difficult to find out how many credits a specific generation costs, and annoying to find out how many you have left.

If I'm being charged a substantial monthly fee (which was recently massively increased) for photoshop + generations, I expect clear concise information about what I can and can't do, how much of something I have left, and for the product to actually work reliably when out of Beta (there's still lots about generations and partner models that are all over the place in how well it actually works (Topaz in photoshop vs standalone being one example).
