HSL/Color/B&W Panel Greyed Out in Lightroom

I have created a B&W profile in Photoshop. When I apply the profile in LR the HSL/Color/B&W panel is greyed out. I created a color profile in Photoshop and when it is applied all panels are available (including HSL panel). I assumed that when a profile was applied all panels were available in LR for further post-editing. Can someone explain why this is happening for B&W profiles?

Thanks

Michel

What kinds of files are you creating these presets with? Presets for raw files and for RGB files are not interchangeable - they have to work on very different data.

Hi Michel,

Welcome to the Adobe Community!

As the HSL/Color/B&W Panel Greyed Out, could you please let us know the version of Photoshop and Lightroom you're working on?

Could you please make sure that you're using the latest version of Lightroom which is 8.4.1 and let us know if it helps?

Also, make sure that you're signed into the Creative Cloud Desktop app with your Adobe ID.

Regards,
Sahil

Profile is created using and Raw file and Camera Raw not Photoshop.  I am using Lightroom 8.4.1 and Camera Raw 11.4.1.  I am also signed into my Creative Cloud app.

Color profiles created this way allow HSL/Color sliders to be adjusted after applying said profile.
