I have a hung .8bf file. I uninstalled Anthropics Portrait Pro Body and reinstalled it. It would not intall and error said this. "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CC\PortraitProBodyPSFilter32.8bf might still be in use or wrtie protected." I found the file and it was indeed there. I deleted it and restarted the computer. Went back and looked at my filters in Photoshop and it still shows up as a fllter. Any suggestions?

Thanks Kevin for your suggestions. I went back doggedly and looked through all the "Program Files" and the "Program Files(86)" for any entries that had PortraitProBody.8bf in Adobe folders and PortraitPro Studio23 and removed 3 or 4 appearances that weren't removed by the remove program process the computer does when you remove a program.. Finally I looked and the Filter was no longer in my Photoshop application. It had tentacles all over the place.
