I am getting an error when I try to use Neural Filters - "There was an error loading neural filters"

I am on a new Mac M4 with Sequoia 15.6.1 (24G90). I restored it from a Time Machine Backup.  Have tried uninstalling PS, everything's updated, restarting the machine. Signing out and back in. I've never had issues before. Can anybody help?

@jzulakishome restores never work properly. Uninstall and run the CC desktop cleaner tool and do a fresh install of Photoshop via the Creative Cloud Desktop app.

Hi @jzulakishome,

Apologies for the delayed response. I hope that the issue has been resolved by now. If not, please attempt the following, as you mentioned that you restored from a Time Machine backup; some of the filter data may not have transferred correctly.

Here are a few steps to try:

 • Quit Photoshop.
 • Go to this folder and delete the Neural Filters contents:
 • macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/UXP/PluginsStorage/PHSP/26/Internal/com.adobe.nfp.gallery
 • Relaunch Photoshop. The app should re-download the Neural Filters fresh.

Let us know how it goes.

Best,
