I am having problems with the patch tool

I'm having problems with the patch tool, after the last update when using the patch, the program lags for a few seconds

Same thing is happening with me; pretty much only the patch tool is very laggy. M1 Imac. Did not have this issue prior to last update.

With several people having similar hardware having the same issue, I'd be inclined to raise it on the feedback site.  Adobe employees like Jeff Tranberry watch the posts there.
