Alt/Opt would usually duplicate in Photoshop, but for guides, it changes from horizontal to vertical and vice versa.

I don't believe that it is possible (or I don't know of an obvious way) to select multiple guides. The menu shows an "edit selected guides" option in the plural, but it may be better as "edit selected guide" in the singular.

A script could shift all vertical or horizontal guides the required distance in a single command.

I second that. When working with multiple artboards and guides, it is time consuming and frustrating having to manually click on each one of the guides you specifically want to delete.

I ended up creating such a script. Caveat is that the guides are recreated and any artboard guides will become canvas guides:

@Evstmant

Selecting multiple guides is easy in InDesign and Illustrator. You can marquee drag or Shift + Click. This would be a terrific feature request for the Photoshop team, along with angled guides.

It would indeed Jane.  When I first looked at this thread, I went and tried to do the multiselect without looking at the link, and I failed.  I must have tried every modifier key combination other than the right one.  I'll remember in the future, but I do think that it could be easier.

Hi,

With the move tool selected, Shift+Alt+click works here to select multiple guides. Keep holding Shift+Alt whilst using the move tool to move the selected guides together. (Windows 11 and Photoshop 26.5)

Yes, it does, but Shift + Alt must be held down to move all selected guides.
Oops, my apologies, it was mentioned above.
