When I try to manage my third-party plugins in Photoshop 24.0.1, I get an error message saying: Something went wrong. I can't install any upgrades issued by a third-party plugin developer or try to manage them. An example is my Lumienza luminosity panel plugin by Greg Benz. I tried to install the CCX file and the error message I stated before, pops up. I'm using a 16" MacBook Pro.

Hello and thanks! The issue was resolved by an Adobe technician. He accessed my machine remotely as I watched how he resolved the issue. There was a problem with the Creative Cloud app that was causing the issue.

The site lists this - while not exactly the same it may be helpful.

  • The Adobe installer reports that there is "no compatible app" when double-clicking the CCX. Workaround: Make sure you have at least PS v23.3.3 installed (current minimum for Lumenzia v11 and Web Sharp Pro v3.8.5) and try removing any PS beta you have - the presence of the PS beta seems to trigger this warning (incorrectly because you have a valid version of PS) on some computer.

Are you certain the updates are compatible with your version of PS?

If you are running an M1 mac you may need to run these in Rosetta mode.

Check the vendor site for known issues:
