Select the Type Tool, as you have been.

But, instead of just clicking and starting your typing in your document, Click and DRAG out a paragraph text box, just like you'd drag out a rectangular marquee.

Your flashing-cursor insertion point will flash at a position within that box, depending on how you have your character and paragraph attributes set in their respective palettes.

Ok. I must be missing something obvious. Where can I select a text box? I am using CS2 is that feature on this? Pls give a simple step-by-step.

You have to have created paragraph text. Do this be dragging a textbox the width you want. Then type the text you want, allowing automatic line breaks. You should be able to use the justification buttons on the paragraph palette/tab to get the type of justification you want.

I think there might be a way to convert text to paragraph style from line style, but you will still have to get rid of all the enter commands that were used to break lines.
