I only want to edit one text layer

When I edit one of my text layers by changing the drop shadow, it changes all the text layers with drop shadow.  I've been searching for a while now and all I can find is how to change multiple text layers.  There must be a setting somewhere that has them link or something, but I can't find it.

Is the layer style add to a single text layer or to a layer group.  Post a screen capture of your document open in Photoshop where you are editing the layer style and the Layers palette is visible in the captured screen.

A good call Pierre.  Global Light is one of those gotchas that is useful when you want to use it, but a PITA when you don't, and forget it is checked.  As well as Drop Shadow, it affects Bevel & Emboss and Inner Shadow.  Changing the angle for any of those  Layer Styles, will affect every other layer that is using one or more of those Layer Styles if Global Light is checked for those layers.
