Hello I am new to Adobe applications. I am currently customizing my website which I am using as a template.

This is also where I got this template from. It's about staging the team members of a radio show with a certain filter. I would like to use my own image instead of the lady's image and keep all the effects.

Is there a possibility that I insert my own image as a layer or do I have to reapply all effects invidually to my own image?

Thanks for a constuctive feedback in advance

(Cant upload the original one, its too big)

Please show your Layers panel. Resize it wider and taller so we can see all of it if you have multiple layers. If the person is on its own layer, it can be replaced. If everything is on one layer, you will have to recreate the effects.

Thanks for your quick reply. It looks to me like it is a separate layer.

@radiorenegat

Make a copy of the file first and work on the copy.

There is a folder at the top with a Smart Object in it. Double-click the SO to open it and replace that image with yours. It will open as a .psb.

Close and save the .psb to return to the .psd and let us know if that works.

It's driving me a little crazy but when I try to edit this layer, it doesn't reassemble as a whole file.... i'll try to add the template as an attachment, maybe that could help
