IDK! Objects/Layers disappearing on Selection

For quite a while now may maybe the last 3 or 4 updates when ever I select two objects the screen goes gray and I cant see the rest of the canvas... or the two secection dissapear and they cant be seen until I zoom in and out.... 

Im up to date on updates and this is very annoying 

any help?
