Question

iMac different from MacBook Pro

Good morning Grant! Happy Saturday! I'm not sure if this is a question for you, but thought I would start here. I edit on an iMac and on my MacBook Pro laptop depending. When I have 100% opacity and 10% flow on my desktop, to get the same effect, my MBP needs 50% Opacity and about 5-10% flow. I have no idea why.  For example curves or clone stamp or brush. The MacBook Pro is like it's on steroids and I'm not sure why or what to do about it. Is this normal? Should I reinstall PS? Should I leave it as is and adjust opacity accordingly? Thank you

You could try restting all tools in both applications or resetting the preferences for the entire App as a whole so you are apples-to-apples in setups.

To reset the tools: select a tool and click the icon top left and use the drop down menu to Reset All Tools.

To reset the app preferences, go to Photoshop/Preferences/General and click the "Reset Preferences Upon Quit".

Quit and relaunch PS.

Try disabling GPU in one or both (found in preferences), do they match now?

Do you have the same version of Photoshop installed?

On the MBP - what input device are you using - trackpad, mouse, etc?
