I dragged a few image files from the SanDisk USB dive into Photoshop CC and they just disappeared. Is anyone familiar with the issue and have a clue where should I look for them?

They are probably still on theUSB drive. Copy them to your desktop, and try opening them from there.

If you know the file name, try searching for it. It appears that you may have dragged the files to a different location, and they did not open in Photoshop since there is nothing displayed in Photoshop.

I have already run all the possible search options for the extension and file name. Also, I used file recovery software. They are just gone ((
