Hi I just noticed the eyedropper does something special if you click and drag it within the picture (not within the Replace color Palette), can someone please tell me what it does ?

Thank you in advance

Hi. If you click and drag the eyedropper, it continues reading the color underneath until you release the mouse button.

Hi Nicolas,

Thanks for reaching out. I am a bit unclear on the question asked. Which version of Photoshop are you using? When you click and drag do you see any color wheel in a circle around the point of selected colors? Can you tell us what exactly is happening, so that we can try to help accordingly? Here's a video that will help you with all the functions that the eyedropper tool can do in Photoshop: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQOvtXyW5MU

Do check this and let us know if that works.
Thanks,

thanks, the contrast in the Palette changes as you drag the eyedropper.

Normally it lets you choose a color when you click but if you drag it it does something else and I don't know what it is. No color palette opens up. Maybe you want to try and see by yourself.
