Image -> Adjustments -> Replace color -> eyedropper

Hi I just noticed the eyedropper does something special if you click and drag it within the picture (not within the Replace color Palette), can someone please tell me what it does ?

Thanks for reaching out. I am a bit unclear on the question asked. Which version of Photoshop are you using? When you click and drag do you see any color wheel in a circle around the point of selected colors? Can you tell us what exactly is happening, so that we can try to help accordingly? thanks, the contrast in the Palette changes as you drag the eyedropper.

Normally it lets you choose a color when you click but if you drag it it does something else and I don't know what it is. No color palette opens up. Maybe you want to try and see by yourself.

Hi. If you click and drag the eyedropper, it continues reading the color underneath until you release the mouse button.
