Image import issue from bridge to photoshop

When selecting an image and openning in photoshop cc, the picture appears to be corrupted, blocks of the picture are missing being replaced with a white background. This happens with processed raw files Or preprocessed files from the bridge library.

Help! any suggestions or fixes will be much appreciated!

Does turning off »Use Graphics Processor« in the Performance Preferences (Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > Graphic Processor Settings) and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue?

Hi thank you for the advice, I will give it a go

It does seem to be an intermittent problem , not with every image which I find strange.
