Image opening in the bottom right of screen and not in middle

Hi

Photoshop has started to open my images in the bottom right of the workspace and not in the middle.  Does anyone know what I might have done to change the default?  Any idea how to get it back to opening it in the middle?

Cheers

Matt

You might me using Float in Window arrangement.

Go to  Window in the Menu > Arrange > Select "Consolidate All to Tabs"

    Hi Derek

Resetting Preferences on Quitting did the trick - all back to normal now.

Thanks to Michael, Derek and Vishu for the time spent on this for me.  Much appreciated.

    Hi Matt,

Youve posted in the non-technical Lounge area. I'll move this post to the Photoshop forum where it can get more attention.

    Meanwhile, a few questions:

    1. Windows or Mac? OS version?

    2. What numeric version of Photoshop?

    3. Did you recently change your screen resolution? Can you see the full PS window on your display?

The reason for #3 is that sometimes when changing to a smaller resolution, the PS window ends up larger than the display. In the case, opening an image in the middle of PS's workspace window would place it down and to the right of your physical display. You might be able to resize the PS window to correct this.

A screen shot shot would be helpful.

    Hi Folks

Apologies, inexperience with the forums showing through here. But great suggestions, many thanks.

I am on a Mac  (Sorry Vishu - but thank you nonetheless)

I will have a look at resolution and preferences now - thanks Derek and Michael both.
