Question

Image processor affects root files :(

Hello, big problem with image processor, all changes made with export files (such as flatten, size, 8bit etc) are applied to root files. Every change in images processor affects root files, for example psd -> resized jpg makes psd resized too 😞

Any idea how to fix it?

The imags processor should not replace any file,  its designed will not replace existing files. It would add a  numeric  suffix version nunber to write the next version for that file name.  The Image Processor only saved  new file it does not replace files.   If the Image process overwrite any file on you machine there is a problem with your installed software. Or  you include an action in the image processor dialog and the action  has a save step to overwites the file being process.  An action can do a save and overwrite files the the image processor is processing.  Make sure there are no save steps in any action you use with Image Processor.

The Image processor can save a Jpeg version, a PSD version and Tiff version for each image file it processes. The Save image file formats types can be resize to an area size you set in the image processor dialog.

Ther is a more flexable Image Processor Pro Photoshop Plug-in script you can download and install on the web.
