Images freezing while working on them.

Thank you for your response, just to clarify when I’m working in photoshop retouching a hi-res image and I’m zoomed in to about 300 or 400%, I’m moving around the image by holding the space bar and moving up and down with the mouse, the image will freeze. I can’t move the image and I can’t select another tool. But I can move the mouse and curser to save and close the image. I just open the image back up and pick up where I left off. I’m doing this work at my place of employment using their work computer, so I am required to have certain programs open, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Teams, and Google Chrome. I usually close Google Chrome and that eliminates the problem, but I can’t be sure if this procedure has worked every time. I just have not been keeping track that closely. Hope this helps.
