Images not opening in Photoshop CS2020

I download JPGs from a picture library, when they land on my desktop, they automatically open up in Photoshop. Since upgrading to MAC OS Catalina, this does not happen.

The 'get Info' setting of the JPG are set to Photshop default.

Has anoyone had this problem andf how can i solve it

Have you search for in the Photoshop forun for Problems with Catalina there seems to be many threads
