Please help. Don't know if it's me but I can't find any way to import files into a photoshop file I work with. As I can not open two files at the same time, the usual copy paste is not possible?! Nor can I find any method into opening for example a photo that I want to integrate as background in one of my drawings...that is such an basic task that I am more than irritated I can not manage that right from the start. Please don't tell me I need a laptop for that;)

To import files into your current document on PS for iPad, click the Insert Image icon (sun and mountain).

Thank you for the fast reply. Got it. But why is "my work" not included as import option? I can't find any of my "cloud-documents" that I am currently working on?

Hi @tmksr
Try this:
If the image wasn't opened recently, open it, then try again.

Thank you for the reply. Sadly "my work" files does not appear here - only recent files from "creative cloud" are available (which is NOT the same) ... "my work" should be definitely a folder to select too! Very confusing workflow imho.

Hi @tmksr ,
You can click the question mark in the upper right, then "Send Feedback" to tell Adobe. I agree that it should be easier.
As a workaround, though, try opening the second file so that it appears in recents. Or maybe another volunteer will have another idea and will chime in.

Thank you for your support and for agreeing that the current workflow is no joy.
The point is. It is not only unfeasible, but practically impossible.
The "open-close file workaround" does not work, because files from the "my work" area do NOT appear under "recent" at all.
I also tried as workaround exporting the file from photoshop (via export icon / publish and export) to the "creative cloud" to make the file available in the import function. It takes quite a long time to upload it, and so far it is not available for import even after several hours. And … and i double my files that way!
Conclusion: I currently need a laptop to open 2 photoshop files at the same time and exchange content between them. complete madness!

Hi @tmksr
Click the question mark in the upper right corner, then click "Send Feedback" to put in a feature request to Adobe. The only way I could get this to work was to open the file to force it to appear in Recents.

Ok, will do That. But where is your file located? In the Creative cloud folder? Can you access the file via the finder on desktop pc for example?

Do you see the ones you are looking for in "Your work"?
I have files stored in multiple places.

Yes of course. The files I am looking for are ONLY in "your work" (called it "my work" by mistake because I translated from german UI). I create multiple files in Photoshop (on the iPad) from scratch, mostly drawings. And in the end I want to merge the objects from these different files in one final file. All off these files ONLY exist in "your work" it's also not possible open them in the finder on my iMac, because they only live in these special "your work" area. Very confusing! Hope you understand the problem now.
