importing templates - how to

Hello friends, I would love some advice please. I am wanting to put an existing template (for a graphic novel, A4 size) that has been given to me. Photoshop makes it very easy to use a template from their stock, and plenty of instructions how to do that, but I am missing any instruction of how to put my own template in. I will want to use the template multitimes, so want it to be saved just as the template, then I can copy multi copies from that. Many thanks,

      Hi Kevin, thanks for this. I did already find this page, but it still is not clear to me how to import an existing template. I can see how I can use a preset or make my own /modify a template, but these are not what I want to do. It must be possible since I have been given a template to use in Photoshop. Very best

      So far you haven’t mentioned the file format of the template, please provide meaningful information.
