24.1.1 photoshop

HUGE BUG with option and space bar for -

and cmd space bar for +

zooming out and in doesnt work if you are using the brush tool

( always did before in all versions )

you now have to click on the HAND TOOL for the zoom in/out to work and this is a pain in the ass.

IT MIGHT BE A VENTURA 13.2 issue

i have no idea but its not working like it used to

Hi @losackmd working fine on my Photoshop using the brush tool and spacebar option/cmd - same specs.

Have you checked your Apple System Preferences/Keyboard/Shortcuts to make sure you don't have a conflicting shortcut interfering?

You could also try to reset your preferences in Photoshop (Photoshop Prefs/General click the reset button).

@losackmd One quick thought - are you hitting the space bar first to get the hand tool- then holding opt or cmd?

The order of operation does matter.

Hi losackmd,

Is it just the brush tool, or does zoom fail with other tools? If you install the previous version of Photoshop, does it work?

Hi, @losackmd you may want to copy the entire preferences folder once you've reset Photoshop the way you want, this way, you'd be able to replace the preferences with known working ones, if your system is prompt to give you corrupted preferences.
