In Photoshop Find and Replace Text Window disappeared

Community Beginner ,
Sep 21, 2019 Sep 21, 2019

I frequently use "Find and Replace Text" in a Photoshop Document where I've got a bunch of labels.
I don't know what I did this last time I used it but when I select "Find and Replace Text" from the Edit Menu, the Tool Window does not oppen.
What can I do to restore this Window?

Thanks in advance.

Solved!
I opened another similar file, also with labels, then I selected a random text manually and when I requested to open the "Find and Replace Text" from the Edit Menu, the Window opened normally, as usual.
I'm not 100% sure but I believe last time I had used this tool I Unchecked "Search All Llayers" option box (I will never uncheck it ever more).
Thanks.

Hi

I’m glad it’s working for you now!

When you click the black reply button to a message, it comes in on one line and pressing RETURN will post the message. Clicking the big blue Reply to the first post acts normally.

Jane

Hey,

I’m facing the exact same problem. The “Find and Replace text” window disappeared after I unchecked “Search all layers”.
It’s no longer working in any other file nor after rebooting Photoshop and my computer. Anyone could help?

Thanks.

"The “Find and Replace text” window disappeared after I unchecked “Search all layers”. "

You'll need to check it again. First select a layer that contains text so you can open the Find and Replace Text Dialog.
