Inaccurate cursor icons in Photoshop CC 2019

When I chose a tool in Photoshop cc 2019 an icon representing the tool appears. Sometimes this is accurate but there is an alternative such as a ROUND figure, For instance, the BURN Tool shows a figure of a hand. The Dodge tool shows a figure similar to a stick with a ball on top of it. It is very hard too use these things. how do I get back to the way it showed when I installe the program?
