How do I increase the size of all the Photoshop icon, Tools, etc.?  For me, they are very small.

My setup is: MacBook Pro and Mac Pro Desktop, OS 10.10.1, with Photoshop CS6 vs 13.0 x34

Hey,

Try Edit > Preferences > Interface > UI Scaling ( Under text setting ) set it to Auto > Restart Photoshop and it should be good to go.

Please don't be rude to the volunteers contributing on this forum. You (as they are) are entitled to your views but calling people names doesn't help rational discussion on the (normally) friendly forum.

Derek, please could you show me where I called anyone names.

I (like others) visited this forum as it is the site you are directed to by ADOBE under the heading contact US!

So far all I have had help from are volunteer users.

So where are the Adobe personnel who legally can speak on behalf of their product development..or lack of?

I do apologize for my approach to this forum though, as I was expecting a response directly from an Adobe rep. as I have spent a lot of money on a product which I was duped into believing was an ongoing development. As Mr Fosse correctly said Apple have been dropping software for years so I should have expected the same. I will be less angry with this forum now as I have got the idea of it, a lot of expert users helping each other as Adobe can't be bothered.

"Thanks for your useless unhelpful response."

"Why respond if you have no input?"

"Please use facts rather than thoughts."

"don't get involved when people are trying to "Reach Adobe Help" i.e) the Company."

"you cannot have an open mind ."

As mentioned, please keep your comments friendly.

No name calling there.....

I assumed you were an Adobe helpdesk type person and reacted like I did because I would not expect a company like Adobe to answer a customer with the comments you put. ie) its your choice to use an old program.

A case of mistaken idenity sorry.

So where is Adobe help? Non existent?

Re Help, previous posters have clearly stated that Photoshop CS6 is "end of life". You can choose to live with it and not upgrade your OS and hardware, alternatively upgrade to the subscription version (currently CC2017) or buy Photoshop Elements for a one off payment, or change and use an alternative photo-editing application.

Thanks. Previous posters..Yet again I can't help to notice that no-one from the actial company seems to comment on this forum which they label as "Contact us"

I will leave at that. Thank you 'all' for the advice it is clear that I need to modernise and I am quite aware how to financially reflect extra costs in the business.

Smaller franchises if they had no way to contact the company would lose custom very quickly, I think it's a great idea to recruit moderators without pay on these such forums.

I do sincerely apologize for the fact I initially assumed some replies were direct from Adobe employed persons. I would not reply the way I did if I had known you were just a fantasy titled user.

Hey there, This worked for me. Place PS shortcut on the desktop, right click, properties, compatibility tab, check override high dpi and check by system (enhanced)

I tried this, and it worked on the icons, but the photos don't line up and have grids on them, if I grab it with the hand tool it becomes normal, but when I release it it's off center and will not line up.

Wow! I’ve never created an account just so I could add to a blog. My wife was having the migit icon issue and was about to throw both our Mac and windows laptops against the wall. After reading this blog I can say One; Ian, you’re the man and I agree hands down. Adobe, your a punk for not providing actual customer support and leaving it to others to do it for you. Otherwise for the last post that came in on adjusting settings via the destop icon. That was money and I truly appreciate you making me look like a BAMF to my wife who usually does all the pc technical issues:-).

thank you so much for the posts. I truly enjoyed reading the Back and forth. Again, from an outsider who does not use this software, totally on Ian’s ship. Adobe Shame on you.

Never to comment again,

Joe from Texas

I had the same problem for more than a year. I tried with a manifest file, to some apps worked, to some not. Beside this, after updates you lose the settings. This solution can help somehow, but I found a much better one. It works like a charm! Here it is: 1. Have the icons of the apps from Adobe software on the desktop, 2. Right click on the icon, 3. Click Properties, 4. Click Compatibility, 5. Check the box ”Override high DPI scaling behavior...”, 6. At box under open and check System. Then start the app and will go normal size. Spread the news!
