So, I went to the free downloads page for Photo Shop 2024.
Clicked and downloaded a few.
They are zip files in my windows Downloads folder.
How to I put these files in my plugins folder so I can use them in PS ?
Thanks,
-Bill-

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/
p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

So help figure out how to post this question.
When I start photoshop now, it's just a page with the tabs on top and nothing on the left or right side till I add a picture.
Never did that till today.
Maybe an update or something ?

From which page, or rather, which site did you download it? Have you attempted to unzip the files and look for installation instructions among them or on the download page?

I just clicked on the tab to get actions on the Photo Shop 2024 program I have.
Then Plugins, then hit the Browse Plugins and down loaded some.
They are all zip files and when I double click then it is a ABR file. Example...Reflections.ABR
.
In the old Photoshop I had, you could down load a plugin and put it in the folder in your photoshop, C drive before.

Have you tried following the steps outlined in this Adobe Help article?

It depends on the plug in. Some are javascripts other works integrated to some feature
To intall the plugins it is way better to do it with the cloud app where you can install and activate.
If they are provided by third party editors first of all unzip and check if there is a readme file explaining how it works. Also on the plugin page generally it is also explained.

I will go to the cloud page and try that, I'm guessing it will instal the plugin and it will always be selectable in Photoshop ?
