Install Photoshop CS6 13.0 onto Mac OS Monterey 12.3.1

When I try to install Photoshop CS6 13.0 onto my laptop (MacOS Monterey 12.3.1), I get the following error:

"Install" needs to be updated.

The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of macOS. Contact the developer for more information.

I realize I have an old version of photoshop as my register product, but is there a fix for this?  Replacing the dead laptop was expensive enough, I'm not keen to have to replace this too.

Correct answer gener7

But Adobe Photoshop CS6 is a 64 bit application?

Yes, but the installer is 32-bit only.  Read the part about legacy/perpetual versions.

So what is the "fix?"

Adobe is pathetic in this area.

And it community support experts remind me of the paid Chinese promoters of products on Amazon.  Adobe has been a horrific company in considering consumer needs.

Microsoft Office legacy products work orders of mangnitude better than Adobe products.  There is not effort.  Quite the contrary. Adobe wants to promote its cloud monthly products and will do anything in their power to kill the desktop applications that they sold.

Really sad.
