Hello,

I recently installed Photoshop on my new Apple MacBook (M4 chip), and when I try to launch the application, I receive the following error message:

Some of the application components are missing from the Application directory. Please reinstall the application.

I have already tried restarting my MacBook and reinstalling Photoshop, but the issue persists. Could you please assist me in resolving this problem?

Thank you for your help.

I suggest you reset the Photoshop Settings back to the factory defaults using this method:

Launch Photoshop and quickly hold down the following keys:
Shift+Control+Option+Command

When prompted to delete the Preferences or Settings, click Yes
(If you don't see the question repeat the exercise.)

If that doesn't resolve the issue try the Adobe Cleaner Tool to remove all fragments of the application and try a clean install.

@alona_8043

You might need to use the Adobe Cleaner tool to remove all parts of the previous installations, then install from the CC app as instructed by Jeff:

Note that the help page says that the Library file is a hidden file and gives instructions for accessing it.

Did you use the Adobe Create Cloud Desktop application in

Applications/Adobe Creative Cloud to reinstall Photoshop?

I am installing Photoshop from Adobe Creative Cloud, and I have also tried
from the official website, but I always get the following message. I have
already tried reinstalling the program multiple times, but the issue
persists.
