Installed Font not in selection List

Hello,

I am using the latest PS on the latest macOS.

There I have installed a font. This font is also visible in Illustrator
and e.g. MS Word and also usable.

In Photoshop, however, I can not find it. It
is not displayed. Documents that use the font show
that this font is missing.

I have tried all the tips from the Adobe help page. Unfortunately
no improvement. Anybody else have an idea?

I would like to have more details. And I am sure people advised you to re-install?

As Myra said, we need more details:

• Name of typeface
• Your version of macOS
• Is it from Adobe Fonts?
  If not, where did you get it?
• How did you install it?
• Do you see it in Mac Font Book?

• If you use another Type Manager, which one?

Is the font a Type 1 Postscript font? 

If so, the newest version of Photoshop will not be able to recognize or use it; support for Type 1 fonts was discontinued with this version of PS

That was the problem. Found a TTF-Version of this font and this works great!
