Invoke external editor from inside Photoshop

Is there a way to invoke an external editor while editing in Photoshop? The same as in Lightroom.

 

Can think of many reasons to do this, but my use case is to use the stand-alone version of a plug-in, whose developers are too lazy to care to develop an Apple silicon version of the .plugin.

Hey, @NickSpirov. 

Currently, Photoshop does not have the option to send images out. You'll have to continue saving & opening images manually in the plugin. This isn't a unique situation; some presets ended up in the Legacy space since M1 came out.

 

I recommend contacting the plugin developer or the plugin community if it exists.
