Question

IPAD - No Brushes Available - We've run into an error - please reinstall.

I’m experiencing a frustrating issue with Photoshop on my iPad Pro. Every time I open the app and I go to select a brush it gives me the:

“No brushes available. We’ve run into an error. Please delete and reinstall Photoshop to restore your brushes.”

I’ve followed the advice to delete and reinstall Photoshop multiple times, but the issue persists. I’m only trying to access the default brushes—I haven’t tried importing any custom brushes yet.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

1.Reinstalled the app multiple times.

2.Ensured my iPadOS and Photoshop app are up to date.

3.Signed out and back into my Creative Cloud account.

4.Checked my Creative Cloud sync settings.

None of these steps have resolved the issue, and the default brushes remain unavailable. Has anyone encountered this problem and found a solution?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hey, @Eleanor24830187go4f. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll help you figure this out.

In Photoshop iPad, tap on your profile > Help > Scroll down to Support and select Save Support Logs.

The logs will be stored in the Files app > On my iPad > PS Folder. Please share the logs with me by uploading them to any cloud storage and sharing the link to the file with me via direct message on my profile.

Thanks!
