Hello all 🙂

Sorry to disturb you. I'm pretty new to this tool, so maybe my question is a little silly haha.

I have an existing set of crystal brushes, and I would like to "combine" them into one brush.
My goal is: When I paint an area, it randomly chooses some crystals and applies them.
For example, if I have 10 images of trees, when I paint, it randomly places some of those 10 tree images to create a more "natural" forest quickly.

Do you know if there is a way to do this in Photoshop (I'm working on the CC version of PS) or another Adobe tool that I can import into PS?

Thank you a lot in advance for your answer.

Not in Photoshop.

Illustrator offers the symbol sprayer tool, but that works with one Symbol at a time.

In Photoshop one can use Scripts to implement work-arounds but those would work based on Paths or Channels and not provide the Brush-experience.

Like I stated a Script can be used to distribute instances of multiple Smart Objects along a Path or based on a Channel.

What exactly is the workflow you are trying to improve?
