Is it possible to export recorded brush strokes as video files?

I'm very impressed with the "Allow Tool Recording" feature of Photoshop. I can make a simple drawing and then watch it draw itself. Great! But it's not much use to me if I can't export it as a video file or image sequence. I'd really like to avoid using screencapture software... doesn't Photoshop have a way to export a recorded action as a video file??? Any help would be appreciated!

PS is not screen recording software.  Different tools for different tasks.

I use Camtasia Studio or Snagit from Techsmith.

There is also Captivate if you want to keep it Adobe, but it's over the top just for screen recording.   I would second Nancy's suggestion of Snagit and Camtasia.

You can try many different techniques here.

Let's start with adding one step to your Action.

Open any file and press Record Button. Then just add a new layer and finish recording.

Then go to your action and drag this stepstep before any brush stroke recorded in Action. You have to copy Add a New Layer step and use it before Any step with strokes. I know it's boring and time consuming - but it works!

Finally your Action sholud looks like this:

    New Layer

    Stroke

    New Layer

    Stroke

    ect.

Now you can easily export Layers to files - sequence of your images

That would create a stop motion of each brush stroke, but you wouldn't actually capture the animation of the brush stroke, would you? They'd just pop in one after the other. I'm trying to actually see the brush strokes in action.

I know PS is not screen recording software. But it does have some animation capabilities so it's not like the feature I'm wondering about is absurd. i was hoping it could export an image sequence or something out of the recorded progression. Im trying to avoid using screen capture software because I'll lose transparency and end up with a resolution limited by the resolution of my monitor. Oh well.
