Slide video from CPT5 PDF does not work when published in CPT6 PDF

I am attempting to reuse files I created using Captivate 5 last year in Captivate 6 but have run into an issue with certain slide videos not playing as a result of this transition. The video file worked perfectly fine when rendered to PDF in CPT5 but comes up as a blank screen or pauses the player and has the thinking circle in 6. The file format is a f4v in the cpt 5 file which did not work in 6, nor has converting it to flv. Im not sure what new setting was developed that would prevent this from playing. Any suggestions?

Have you been able to get the file to play in Preview?

Ca you try and insert any sample video and check if that works fine?

Also, Is the project and published output on your local machine?

    Thanks,

the video works and plays as it should in the preview, once published and viewed locally from the machine or uploaded to web through PDF the video disappears or will pause and the loading circle is displayed. This seems to be an issue with only the f4v video and not the existing flv videos that are contained int he same project. I have converted the f4v to flv w no success

Can you try and add your published folder location to Flash Player-- Global Trusted Location Settings.

    Use this article -- http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager04a.html

or You can use the Default My Adobe Captivate Project under My Documents as the published location to play the output.

Also, verify do you see the Video located in the same directory as your published files are?

    Thanks,
