Is there a Photoshop text styles gallery?

I'm looking to display, in some way, a digital gallery/library of all the text styles I have created over the years for quick reference without exporting all these styles into a pdf.

Is there an add-on or separate text styles gallery program where I can page through all the different styles with the typeface and words I choose? Does that make sense? I can pick my font, type my words and all the text styles will populate...not the small styles boxes but the words WITH the styles. Hi there,

Unfortunately this is not available in Photoshop, however, you may suggest it as a feature request here: https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family This forum is directly monitored by our developers and they might look into it for future releases.

Regards,
Sahil

Hi ElmMaker

Yes, you can do this, but you'll need to do a little work first and then keep up with it as you go along. First, though, these are technically not Text Styles (Paragraph and Character), they are Layer Styles. Layer Styles are simply a collection of Layer Effects that can be applied as a set.

  • First, create a new group (folder) in the Styles panel to keep your Layer styles separate from the ones that are built in
  • Select a layer with your text and create and name a new layer style (+)
  • In addition, when you add the layer styles here, they will show up in your current Creative Cloud library. I couldn't find a way to turn this feature on or off. You might want to create a new library first.

I appreciate your time Jane!

I'm more referring to a gallery of styles applied to the typeface and words I choose. A square with textures is little help to me when I want to apply it to text.

Somehting similar to typeface websites that let's you choose the words to see how it looks in a certain font, although I would like it applied to styles too. Does this make sense at all?

Again, thank you for taking the time, Jane. I really appreciate it.
