Question

Is there any way to stop or block automatic updates in Creative Cloud

I would like to have the power to only install automatic updates on my terms. Is that possible?

Especially with regards to major releases.I know you can revert back to another version but I'd prefer updating at my convenience.

Thanks for any advice on this.Regards,Terry

On my computer, the Adobe CC app always alerts me when an upgrade is available.  Nothing happens unless I press the "Update" button.  It DOES operate on my terms by default.

With CC you choose when to update applications. When there is a major update, like we got last month, you have an option to instal the update without overwriting the current version. This option is somewhat hidden under advanced options. By default new updates overwrite current versions. Not everyone is happy with that, but the point is, if you pay attention you can run updates when and how you want to.
