Isolating individual item in an image file "collection" from Adobe Stock?

Hi! I have downloaded a few files from Adobe Stock (usually JPEG or SVG) that are "collections" of hand drawn items all in one JPEG, like flowers and the like. Is there a good way to isolate individual items in Illustrator? I can do it in Photoshop with cropping or Magic Wand, but am having trouble getting the PNG to save with a transparent background, and would really prefer an SVG file anyway. (Also, is there a way to save things as an SVG from Photoshop? I haven't been able to).

A screen shot of the image would help.

If you mean you want to cut-out a photograph from its background and it's a JPG, it depends on the image and your skill.

One way is to try Select > Subject. and then use a Layer Mask to cut out the background. There are additional techniques for fine-tuning your cut-out. As JPGs can't have transparency, save the image as a native PSD file or a PNG.
