Issue with gradient editor

Hi, when I save a new gradient PS saves it but then when I upload the new one to apply it elsewhere there is no new gradient between the others. Sometimes PS does (based on unknown criterion to me) but I didn't understand why so many other times this doesn't happen and I would like to know how to fix it. Thanks in advance.
