Hello, I’m experiencing an issue with the Gradient Tool in Photoshop. The 'Mode' option is missing, and I’ve already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program, as well as resetting the workspace to Essentials. However, the 'Mode' option still doesn’t appear. Could you please assist me with resolving this issue? Thank you.
The Mode is not really required when using the Gradient Tool since it creates an adjustment layer where you can change the Layer Blending Mode.

If you need the Mode for whatever reason you can change the Gradient Tool to Classic Gradient, but then you won't be able to modify the Gradient later.
As previously mentioned, there is no blending mode option. Adjustment layers can blend with the pixels below them through layer blending modes.
This option is unavailable because it does not paint pixels over existing pixels on the same layer.
