It seems I can't select a brush it always changes back.

Every single time i open the brush tab and pick a new brush it instantly goes back to the same brush.

So after spending two hours with someone from adobe having remote access they were not able to answer and scheduled a call back. 

However just a few moments later i realzied the problem was the Elgato Streamdeck plugin. 
once uninstalled the problem disapeared.

It seems it is only an issue if I use the brush tab to change tools. 
So i i select a brush that has art history as a tool preset it will automatically switch back to the previous brush. 
If i select another brush with the brush tool as a preset it will change.
