Jagged Lines

Hey Guys,

So I'm getting started in illustration in photoshop and all the lines I draw look jagged, I already checked and is not a resolution problem I work in 300ppp and big canvas. I'm sure i'm using the brush and not the pencil tool, I already reseted the brush tool and nothing. I've read about other programs where the problem is that the antialiasing is off and that is the reason the lines look jagged, but I don't know how to check that in photoshop but I believe that might be the problem.

If I zoom out it doesn't look so bad but when I zoom in the lines looked very jagged I tried exporting to see if it was something about the view but stil looks awful.

Any help would be great!Captura de Pantalla 2020-09-03 a la(s) 7.02.56 p. m..pngCaptura de Pantalla 2020-09-03 a la(s) 7.03.04 p. m..pngCaptura de Pantalla 2020-09-03 a la(s) 7.03.12 p. m..png

Hi

Try two things:

  • Change your blending mode for the Brush tool from Dissolve to Normal (this will affect new brush strokes only)
    and
  • Change your Zoom level to 100% (Cmd+1)
