jpg2 jpeg 2000

I have been trying to find a way to open a jpeg2000 image in Photoshop but I haven't seen a plugin that will work well with cc.    Does anyone have suggestions as to a way to open the file  it is 776 mb.

Photoshop CC should support JPEG2000.

Under "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop [version]\Required\Plug-Ins\File Formats", check if you have an 8BI file called "JPEG2000"

That is odd. Would you be able to share the JPEG2000 file from a file hosting site such as DropBox? If so, I can see if it'll open at my end. Could be the file is corrupt or was saved in such a way Photoshop can't open it.

I appreciate the offer but I’m not in a position where is can share the file. I’ll try and down load it again from dropbox and see if that’s the issue. Photoshop did say that it couldn’t parse the file.

That normally means the file is either corrupt, or not written according to file format specification.
