Keyboard are not working when using Lasso Tool

Good day,

Im from IT department in our school seeking for help regarding Lasso Tool issue which is when using the tool the keyboard are not working.

 

-Based on report from the lecturers when they are using lasso tools, the keyboard will stop working and sometime it can be use all day. 

-The lecturers will use the lasso tool and circle the canvas area, and then they realize tha the shortct key dont work, even try to press the CAPS LOCK but the keyboard are still not responding.

 

I tried to ask my uncle "Google.com" but still doesnt help much.

 

Our machine Specification :
Lenovo TS P620 Workstation
Procs: AMD Ryzen Threadripper Pro 3945WX Processor (4.00GHz up to 4.30GHz)
Keyboard: USB Calliope Keyboard Black English (US)
Memory: 32GB (2x16GB)3200MHz DDR4 RDIMM ECC

Storage: 512GB Solid State Drive, M.2 2280, PCie Gen4, TLC, Opal
GPU: Nvidia RTX 3080 10GB 3DP + HDMI LE.

    Also happens for me pretty frequently. Sometimes saving out and restarting works. Sometimes it doesn't. Would be nice if anyone paid attention to this issue as it can be infuriating.

    Hi @Rob_Wilkey5118! Sorry to hear you're running into trouble with Photoshop.

    I gave it a try on my end but haven’t been able to reproduce the issue just yet. Could you let me know which version of Photoshop you're using, and share any other details you think might help? That’ll give us a better shot at figuring out what’s going on.
