Keyboard stop functioning on Photoshop - Windows OS

Hello,

 

Sometimes my Keyboard stop working on photoshop.

 

Out of nowhere, no shortcuts function, like the keys for tools or ctrl shortcuts, even when saving the file I can't type in the name!

 

This is just inside photoshop.

i don't know for sure, but it seems to happen when I'm in photoshop, then i switch apps, like, going to web browser or other programs then come back. Sometimes restarting just photoshop fix it, only to the problem comeback just later, or it won't go away after closing and opening again photoshop.

Hello Adobe!

 

I have had this same problem over the past year or so! Just with Adobe programs like Illustrator and Photoshop, where all of a sudden, as like above, my keyboard doesn't function correctly. I have to use the mouse to command anything. Save files (without naming them) close, and reboot the mac to get everything back to normal. I thought it was a memory issue, but the Macs (work and home Mac) are beasts and recent. All programs up to date.

Today it was swithching between illustrator and photoshop, which I do often. After a little back an forth, keyboard just didn't work with the 2 programs.

Hi there,

That shouldn't be happening, as the keyboard stops working in Photoshop, could you please let us know the version of Photoshop you're on?

You may try resetting the preferences of Photoshop and see if that helps:

Note: Make sure that you back up all your custom presets, brushes and actions before restoring Photoshop's preferences. Migrate presets, actions, and settings

It's version 20.0.7

 

Edit: I tried already: Resetting preferences, upgrading version 20.0.7 to 21.0, downgrading from 21.0.1 to 21.0, just uninstalling and installing, even changing expand windows (the monitor is desktop and cintiq is another desktop) to duplicate (cintiq and monitor show the same workspace), tried updating drivers, system is up to date, GPU too, Cintiq too.

 

Nothing.

 

Absolutely nothing

 

And then, when it's not the keyboard stop working, it crashes when I try to transform with Ctrl + T, like, I can't really keep using photoshop.

 

I'm posting here but I wanted to get in touch with support, but I'm not available when they are available....
