I've been having problems with the lasso tool, I only downloaded photoshop a few weeks ago and every time I try to use it, it somehow immediately crashes the whole application. Anyone know why this is happening? I don't seem to be having problems with anything else.
Right-click (Windows) or Control-click (Mac OS) the Tool Preset Picker in the Tool options bar and choose Reset Tool to reset the active tool, or choose Reset All Tools to reset all tools to their factory default settings.
I have tried both of these, the lasso tool still isn't working properly. This is the only problem I have when using Photoshop. Thank you for your help anyway.
What version are you using?. There was an issue a while back that crashed PS to the desktop as soon as I selected the magnetic lasso. Fixed now though.
