Layer apply mode keyboard shortcuts not working Photoshop 2020 - macOS

The usual keyboard shortcuts aren't working anymore for setting layers to Overlay, Normal, etc. Anyway to reactiviate these please? Running latest PS version on OSX. Thanks.

That does not sound good, could you please let us know the macOS version you're working on?

Also, could you try resetting the preferences of Photoshop and see if it helps?https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html

Note: Make sure that you back up all your custom presets, brushes & actions before restoring Photoshop's preferences. Migrate presets, actions, and settings

Which shortcuts in particular you are using? One thing I must ask before sugesting anything to troubleshoot: do you have Brush tool or some other tool which is using brush active when trying to use shortcuts? Try shortcuts with Move tool active.
